Schreuder to Help Ajax Regain Form

Ajax FC is a successful club in Holland. It is based out of Amsterdam. They have won back the title of the Champions League four times. Also, they made it to the finals on two occasions. Currently, Erik ten Hag has moved out of Ajax and the club has been feeling an absence of his service. Erik has recently moved to the club Manchester United. Coincidentally the club is having a poor run at the league games after two decades. They are currently under a new boss, Alfred Schreuder.

Under Erik’s guidance, the club had been flying high. He had come in when the club was on a four-year trophy-laden stint. He also helped the club land three titles in Dutch tournaments. The fourth was denied only because the pandemic situation came on.

His coaching ability was quite effective, something that caught the eye of the management at Old Trafford. As a result, he has been hired to help rebuild the Man United team. After he has been hired United is reaping the rewards of his appointment.

Alfred Schreuder had been assistant to Ten Hag and h is now the appointed head coach for the Dutch giants. His appointment was finalized in May. However, it seems that Ajax needs to work on their form, especially in domestic games. At a recent weekend game, they ended with a draw against Feyenoord with a score of 1-1. Till now Ajax has undergone six games without any win. That is how it has been since Eredivisie. This game goes all the way to October end.

Schroeder was able to help club Brugge win the title in the Belgian domestic games. He is now under pressure to help Ajax salvage this season. Coming up next month is the Europa League where Ajax will be facing Union Berlin. Currently, they have not been able to pass the group phase of the Champions League.
